Between Saturday, Aug. 25, and Friday, Aug. 31, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:

Mirian Mauldin, 31, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;
Tangela Denise Goggins, 31, Barnesville, disorderly conduct;
Ruby Nicole Williams, 33, Macon, driving while license suspended or revoked;
Demarious Durrell Traylor, 26, Griffin, probation violation;
Margaret Smith Nobles, 43, Griffin, failure to appear;
Jerry Wayne Lewis, 45, Griffin, probation violation;
Michael Branden Myers, 22, Griffin, child support;
Damon Ross O’Neal, 28, Barnesville, use of communication facilities for a drug transaction and possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana;
Marcus Antonio Watkins, 23, Forsyth, serving time;
Jimmie Junior Simmons III, 19, Griffin, probation violation;
Forrestine Cassandra Hightower, 49, Griffin, arrested for another agency.

Deputies answered 161 calls and the 911 center answered 109. Deputies responded to 36 calls, the Barnesville police department to 25, Lamar County firefighters to 27, the Barnesville fire department to three and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 48. There were 13 accidents. Deputies served three warrants and issued 12 traffic citations.
