This wheelchair-confined man was hit by a car downtown Friday.
Man in wheelchair hit by car
A local man who daily travels the streets of Barnesville in his motorized wheelchair was struck by a car at about 5 p.m. downtown.
The victim was conscious and alert but was taken to an area hospital by ambulance as a precaution. His name was not immediately available.
