When officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with a man who had been watching the house for a couple that was on vacation in Maine. The man stated he had been called earlier by the groundskeeper of the facility and was told that one of the back windows was open.
The man then went inside the residence, noticed that several drawers had been opened and called the police. After officers were shown the damage to the window and the rooms of the residence, they requested an investigator and the GPD’s Crime Scene Unit.
