Pfc. Jonathan Davis of Griffin was killed Thursday in Afghanistan. Davis. Davis was assigned to the 82nd Airborne, Cavalry Scouts, when he was killed during combat operations. “His wife Kristen is expecting their first child in May. Davis, 20, is survived by his parents, Kerry and Tracy Davis, and four brothers, Kenneth, who is currently in the Navy; Steven; Timothy and Luke. Davis was a graduate of Griffin high School.
