Griffin Daily News - Police investigate shooting respond to fight
The Griffin Police Department (GPD) responded to a residence on Morris Street Sunday at about 2 a.m. in reference to a shooting, according to a GPD incident report.

Upon their arrival, police officers checked the residence to make sure no one was hurt, set up a perimeter with crime scene tape and searched for evidence of the shooting.

Police then spoke to a 26-year-old black female who stated that unknown suspects fired four rounds from a firearm outside her home, hitting the house and her vehicle. The female further stated to police that she and her friend, a 26-year-old black male, were in bed watching TV when the shooting occurred and didn’t see anyone.
