MISSING MAN FOUND DEAD


A 33-year-old Spalding County man is missing and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him.

UPDATE: Reports began surfacing on social media Tuesday night that Landers had been found dead in an area reservoir. The Herald-Gazette has confirmed he was found dead in an area off West Teamon Circle. There is a large reservoir in that area

A 33-year-old Spalding County man is missing and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him.

UPDATE: Reports began surfacing on social media Tuesday night that Landers had been found dead in an area reservoir. The Herald-Gazette has confirmed he was found dead in an area off West Teamon Circle. There is a large reservoir in that area.

Loy Christopher (Chris) Landers, 33, has been missing since Saturday, May 19. We was last seen at his residence at 200 West Teamon Rd., Griffin. Landers is six feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has green eyes, brown hair and a scar on his right eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a grey tank top, blue jeans and flip-flops.
