A wild car chase through several middle Georgia counties ended with a crash and an arrest Wednesday.

A Lamar County Sheriff's Deputy began chasing a man on I-75 north of Monroe County around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Monroe County deputies joined the chase and it continued all the way to Warner Robins.

That's where the driver apparently hit another vehicle on Watson Boulevard near the Galleria Mall. The driver then hopped out and ran a short distance before officers caught and arrested him.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
