A 22-year old Pike man was killed early Sunday in a motorcycle crash on Bieze Street near Third Ward School in Griffin.


William Nathan Perkins of Hemphill Road was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck two power poles, Bill Taylor of WKEU reports.


The initial investigation indicated Perkins was traveling too fast for conditions.


Moody Funeral Home will handle arrangements for Perkins.
