Third break-in for Hines
For the third time this year, Hines Prescription Shop has been broken into. It was the second break-in in as many months.
According to a Hines spokesperson, two males broke into the store shortly after midnight Wednesday, July 11. They appeared to be going after prescription drugs but the store has made them less easy to access and the security system has been improved.
In the June break-in, a lone male wearing a hood broke out the front door of the pharmacy and stole narcotics, also on a Wednesday. That person is suspected to be the same one as in the first smash and grab earlier in the year.
There have been multiple such thefts at the pharmacy with no arrests made.
The spokesperson stated the police department responded quickly. Everyone is asked to be aware of their surroundings and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
