Macon man shot in head | NewsCentralGA.com | Your Source for Local News | FOX24 & ABC16 | WGXA - Macon | Macon, Ga | Local NewsPolice say a Macon man is in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia after getting shot in the head Saturday evening.

Thirty-five-year-old Sylvester Foster III was sitting with another person on the front porch of a home on the 500 block of Straight Street near Mercer University Drive around 6:45 p.m. Saturday when police say a gunman chased them into the home and shot Foster.

Police say Foster was transported to The Medical Center of Central Georgia. An employee at the hospital says Foster is not listed in their registry or he has requested his identity to remain confidential.
