Sheriff's Report - Barnesville.com Between Friday, March 16, and Thursday, March 22, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:
Luther Roland Moore IV, 22, Barnesville, no license on person, failure to stop for stop sign and expired or no license on person;
William D. Gordy, 54, Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked, DUI alcohol and failure to maintain lane;
Cody Matthew Kinney, 22, Milner, arrested for another agency;
Venny C. Paige Jr., 37, Griffin, two counts financial transaction card theft;
Damon Eugene Ricks, 28, Jonesboro, DUI alcohol, driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving and weaving over roadway;
Shelandria Lawona Zellner, 25, Forsyth, serving time;
Christopher Lafayette Walker, 29, Barnesville, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana;
Elesa Marie Jones, 40, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
Joshua Rodricus Webb, 25, Griffin, serving time;
Mackel Anthony Traylor Sr., 48, Barnesville, public drunkenness;
Greg William Gill, 48, Thomaston, deposit account fraud;
James Garrett, 41, Barnesville, arrested for another agency.
Deputies answered 124 calls and the 911 center answered 84. Deputies responded to 28 calls, the Barnesville police department to 16, Lamar County firefighters to 16, the Barnesville fire department to one and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 46. There were 13 accidents. Deputies served nine warrants and issued 34 citations.
